Whether you're a beginner who needs to develop proper form, flexibility and nutritional habits, a person who needs to regain strength after an injury, a pregnant woman who needs to maintain a fitness level, or an older person with special goals, working with a personal trainer can help you gain the knowledge to reconnect with your body and develop a better understanding of how exercise, weight control and lifestyle balance affect your mind and body. One-on-one wellness coaching can encourage a personal philosophy that becomes a healthy lifestyle by designing and keeping you on a program that allows you to reach your fitness goals safely.
A fusion of Latin and International music with dance moves that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba uses the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat butning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy-to-follow dance steps.
Your body's core is the area around your trunk and pelvis. When you have good core stability, the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen work in harmony. Strong core muscles make it easier to do most physical activities — from swinging a golf club to getting a glass off a top shelf or bending down to tie your shoes. Weak core muscles leave you susceptible to poor posture, lower back pain and muscle injuries. This class is 45 minutes of intense upper and lower abs, obliques and glute exercises performed on a mat with the exception of the warm-up and cool-down stretching.
Cardio training is any exercise that elevates your heart rate to a range between 60 to 85 percent of your maximum rate (fastest your heart could possibly beat). When you're in this heart rate range, you're training in an "cardiovascular" or "aerobic" state. Cardio training has numerous health benefits. In addition to burning calories and losing body fat, it strengthens your heart and lungs. This group personal training class will provide you with the right equipment and the right motivation to give your body what it needs.
Our certified trainers can help you improve your game with a workout designed to increase your flexibility and muscle strength and focus on your posture, alignment, weight transfer and rotation. Workouts incorporate the use of dumbbells, benches and stability balls.
Bones are living tissue that, just like our muscles, respond to exercise by becoming stronger. A lack of exercise, particularly as you get older, may contribute to lower bone mass or density. Weight-bearing exercise such as walking, jogging, hiking, climbing stairs, dancing, treadmill exercises and weight lifting are all beneficial to bone health. The Osteo-fit program is designed to increase muscular strength, joint stability and improve bone density.
Pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk. In addition, pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt the body and strengthen the body's "core" or "powerhouse" (torso). People who do pilates regularly feel they have better posture, are less prone to injury, and experience better overall health.

As when starting any exercise program it is recommended that you seek your physician's approval before participating.
